All Canadian Log Kayak Rack customers will receive a $100 USD additional charge for Taxes, Duties, and Broker fees for each storage rack and each accessory will be charged $30 USD for shipping. This is a hassle-free paperless shipping system available through UPS. Your kayak rack will still arrive within the 2 ½ week timeframe. The only difference is you could receive a phone call from Customs. If you do, choose UPS broker and sender (that’s Log Kayak Rack) pays all duties, broker fees, and taxes.

Kayak Rack Care for Canadian Customers
Log Kayak Rack handcrafts heavy-duty kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddle board (SUP) storage racks from northern white cedar logs. Naturally weather resistant, our storage systems are designed to withstand the elements of the northern states and Canada. They will keep your equipment lasting longer, your property looking cleaner, and get you back out on the water faster, but only if you properly care for your kayak rack. To make sure your kayak rack lasts year after year, and winter after winter, here are a few tips for our cold climate customers.
- Do not place tarps over your kayak rack for winter storage. Tarps can cause severe damage to the kayak rack when water or snow accumulates in folds or droops in a tarp. The weight limit of 100# per pair of arms gets surpassed fast if you are in high snow accumulation regions.
- Do not leave watercraft on the rack for winter storage. Snow will increase weight immensely when it sits on craft, and you will quickly surpass the weight limit.
- Do not hang on nor step on the arms of your kayak storage rack.
- Store all kayaks and canoes hull-down so they cannot fill with water. The weight of the water will exceed the weight limit.
- Racks must be anchored down in windy areas.
- Do not place kayaks, canoes or any item over the 100# limit on a pair of arms (or 50# per arm).
We offer a limited one-year warranty. We will service your kayak rack after the warranty expires for a minimal fee.
