Now maybe the generic version is perfect for you and checks off every single thing on your wish list, but the reality is that we always find flaws in products and nothing can truly be perfect unless it’s custom made to fit each and every one of your needs. That’s why at Log Kayak Rack, we offer the option to customize your boat rack.
What is a boat rack?
At Log Kayak Rack, we saw a common problem among water dwellers in the area and beyond. There was no good way to store smaller boats. Often, people will flip their kayaks and canoes over and store them on the ground. For long term storage, people will drag their beautiful boats across the ground and store them in a garage. Log Kayak Rack created our boat storage racks to provide a space in which your boat could safely be stored and preserved. We wanted an area that was simple, yet provided that much needed protection that laying it on the ground or in a garage just wouldn’t do! So we created storage systems in sizes for 2-8 boats. Each of our racks can hold kayaks, canoes, SUPs, or other small boats up to 100+ pounds. They are made so that you can easily lift your boats in and out and when the day is done, you can easily lock the kayak with a cable. All different sized boats can fit together on the racks and strapping can be installed to prevent the wind from blowing anything off. While all this was great, we found that clients needed more, they needed a customizable option.
Customizing your Boat Rack
If you can dream it, we can do it. We will customize your boat rack to fit the length, width, height, number of canoes or kayaks needed, and the length in which you want the arms of the rack itself. We will change whatever you need to get the right type of boat storage that best suits you. There are so many options when it comes to our racks. Our boat racks can either be screwed to the ground, transported from site to site, or mounted on a wall. They can be for both indoor and outdoor use. The original rack comes unstained and will weather into a beautiful grey color. If you’d like us to stain or paint your boat rack, we can customize it to match the trim of your house, shed, dock or fence – whatever you like!
